What is NullDrop?

NullDrop is a private file-sharing service. Upload a file, choose its expiry and optional access controls, then share the generated link.

Are anonymous uploads permanent?

No. Anonymous uploads always expire and are automatically removed. The available retention choices are shown directly in the upload form.

Can I protect a file?

Yes. You can add a download password and an optional successful-download limit before uploading.

Can I manage an anonymous upload?

Yes. A successful anonymous upload provides a separate private management link. Anyone with that secret link can update supported controls or delete the file, so do not share it with recipients.

What does an account add?

Registered accounts provide permanent storage within the configured quota, a file dashboard, upload history, albums, and organization tools.

Are files publicly searchable?

No. NullDrop does not expose a public file directory. Recipients need the opaque share link.

Are uploads scanned?

The service validates actual file content, computes a SHA-256 hash, checks prohibited hashes, and supports fail-closed antivirus scanning when enabled by the operator.

How do I report abuse?

Open the shared-file page and use its Report file action. That sends the file to the moderation queue.
